Motivational Session for First-Year
- Special Motivational Session for First-Year Students at Shanmuganathan Engineering College.
- A special monthly motivational lecture series is being organized by Shanmuganathan Engineering College, Arasampatti, Thirumayam, with the aim of enhancing the life skills of first-year students. As part of this initiative, the motivational session for the current month was held on February 14, 2026, at the Pichappa Auditorium.
- The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. N. Vennila, the First-Year Coordinator. Dr. KL.Muthuramu, the College Principal, presided over the function.
- The guest of honor for the day was Mr. G. Valliyappan, Headmaster of Govt Higher Secondary School, Sadayampatti and a renowned orator (Pattimandram speaker). Delivering his speech under the title " Nandru Karuthu.." (Think Noble), he inspired the students with the following insights:
- "Every individual possesses a unique talent. Once we identify that uniqueness and travel along a well-planned path, success becomes inevitable. We must always carry the enthusiasm and self-confidence that we can conquer anything. It is the goals set in our subconscious mind and our firm beliefs that lead us toward the path of victory."
- He further emphasized that students should never fear failure or harbor negative thoughts like "I cannot achieve this." He concluded by stating that if one's thoughts and goals are crystal clear, reaching the pinnacle of success is always possible.
- The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. N. Kannan, Assistant Professor of Physics. The session saw active participation from first-year students across all departments, faculty members, and a large number of attendees.
