Shanmuganathan Engineering College

The Training & Placement Cell of our Shanmuganathan Engineering College organized an On-Campus Placement Drive by TVS Training and Services, Chennai on 5th February 2026.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. M. Anto Alosius, Training & Placement Coordinator. Dr. KL.Muthuramu, Principal of the college, delivered the Presidential Address and felicitated the gathering.
Mr. T.R. Venkata Krishnan, Regional Manager of TVS Training and Services, Chennai, graced the occasion as the Special Guest and addressed the students regarding career opportunities.
A total of 60 students from EEE, ECE, and Mechanical Engineering departments were shortlisted for the drive, of which 51 students actively participated in the selection process.
Based on their performance in various rounds of interviews, 21 students were successfully selected for placement. The breakdown of the selected candidates is as follows:
Mechanical Engineering: 15 students
Electronics & Communication Engineering: 5 students
Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 1 student
The selected candidates will be placed at Borgwarner Cooling Systems Pvt Ltd.
The college management and faculty congratulated the placed students on their achievement.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. A.Muthu Manickam, HOD of the Electronics & Communication Engineering department.
