Republic Day Celebrations at Shanmuganathan Engineering College
The 77th Republic Day of the nation was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at Shanmuganathan Engineering College on January 26, 2026.
The event commenced with a disciplined guard of honor by the college NCC (National Cadet Corps) unit. Following the parade, the College Secretary, Mr. M. Viswanathan, hoisted the national flag and delivered the presidential address.
The College Principal, Dr. KL. Muthuramu, graced the occasion with a special Republic Day address, highlighting the significance of the day.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Mohan, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The celebration saw the active participation of all department heads, faculty members, and a large gathering of students.
